Well, welcome to this new podcast, "The Secrets of the 420 Pound Christian", tonight, we are going to be going over new teaching, failing by design. So we're gonna jump right into it. This is a brand new podcast. And we're going to be dealing with the secrets that I learned from going from 420 pounds down to 220 pounds in my journey, and what God's done and what he's taught me, and I want to dis spread this with as many believers as possible. So if you guys are watching, please like, share, and subscribe to this. So here we go.

So tonight, I call this "Failing by Design". But I think it could be better stated as failing because we don't understand our design. And by that, we are designed by God. And a lot of times people will have a picture of this, of how we're genetically made up. And that is that we have a spirit, we have a soul, and we have a body. And all of this is coming together, like with equal proportion. But this isn't generally the case. And I think we all as we will dive into this will learn and understand this together tonight that each one of these components has a voice. And very, very few and far between are they equal voice? Can you guys understand what I'm saying here that generally one of these, either our spirit, our soul, or our body is ruling the roost, so to speak? So I think this is a better understanding of how we are genetically made up. And as we understand this, we're going to get into how we actually have an eating disorder. And by that, I don't mean with just-food. When I say that we have an eating disorder, what I'm saying is that we feed these things out of order. So we are a spirit. And we know that but in Genesis 1:26, that God said, Let us make mankind in our image in our likeness. So he made us as he is, he is a spirit. So we are a spirit being that we are spirit and that we live in a body and we have a soul. Because we also see that in Genesis 2:7, and the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being. So here we are in Genesis 1:26. This is where our spirit is created, our likeness of God is created, then he puts us inside in Genesis 2:7 inside of a body. So we're a spirit that has a soul that lives in a body.

And like I said, each of these parts of us has its own voice. And generally, one of these is a combination of these has a louder voice than the others. And so we see this, especially when somebody gets hurt, for example, when we walk through a hurtful or an abusive situation, which one of these do you think has a louder voice than the others? So whenever we're we're walking out a hurtful situation, which one of these has a louder voice than the other two? Yes, the soul. So even though we are a spirit that lives in a body and has a soul, these very rarely are speaking at the same volume. So we have all these internal voices that we have to deal with. And this is where a spirit of confusion tries to come in. When we operate out of our soul, and rather as a bass line of operation. In other words, if our soul is ruling, our being because we're walking in hurt, and we've been through abuse, then what happens is that gives the opportunity for confusion to come in. And as we know, God is not the spirit or the author of confusion.

And so what we have to do is we have to learn how to deal with not only those voices, but we also have external voices and That's the voices of other people that are in our lives. That's the voice of the enemy. That's the voice of the Holy Spirit. And so it becomes very, very important that this genetic, spiritual genetic makeup of how God made us is in proper alignment. Because if our spirit if we're not living in the Spirit, in other words, our spirit isn't on top, ruling over our soul and our body, then all these other voices have to be filtered through our hurt our bitterness, it has to be filtered through our soul, when our soul is on top. It has to be filtered through our bodies when our bodies are on top. Because many of us know what happens in our bodies, and we get addicted, we struggle with the addiction. The soul struggles with strongholds. In other words, that's where the enemy comes in, when we're hurt in our soul, he comes into attack us in our mind, attacks us in our thoughts, attacks us in our feelings, because that's where he can put his hooks inside of us. But after being attacked in our soul, what happens? We actually begin to turn to different things, whether it's sex, whether it's spending money, whether it's food, whether it's drugs, whether it's alcohol, we turn to these things, and that creates an addiction in our body. So many times, we're struggling with two different things we're struggling with, first of all, an addiction to our body. And then we're struggling with the strongholds of the enemy, in our soul. And as you can see, in this graphic here, the enemy has a megaphone, he's always hollering, he's always trying to outspeak, God, and have his voice more influential than God. But as we see in the scriptures, many times, the voice of the Lord is what it's a whisper. It's a whisper. So we have all these internal voices that we have to deal with. And we have to filter through we have to filter through what is the voice of God, what is the voice of the enemy? What is the voice of others, now, and this present age and time we have so much of the influence of other people's voices, whether that's Facebook, whether that's Instagram, whether that's news media, there's a flood in this information and technology age, where there's a flood of other voices? And so it becomes very, very difficult to actually differentiate what is the voice of the Holy Spirit? What is the voice of God in our lives, and many times people say, Well, God doesn't talk to me, or I don't hear the voice of the Lord? And when we start to get an understanding of our design and the way that we were made, we will start to understand why it is that we have a hard time hearing the voice of the Lord. Many times we'll also understand sometimes when somebody, no matter how good-intentioned they are, or goodwill, they are, sometimes when people, quote-unquote, speak a word from the Lord to us. Guess what it has to get filtered through their soul through their emotions.

We have to be very careful. And thank God, He gave us the Word, His Word, the Word of God, to judge those things that people speak over us because many times they have don't have their spirit man necessarily on top. And they add their own thoughts or emotions, to what God is speaking. So many times they will hear the voice of the Lord and be prompted to speak to you but I've seen this time and time again where they begin to speak. And I can many times tell where the voice of the Lord stops, and the voice of the person begins continues. To add to that which God was speaking, have any of you ever noticed this in your personal lives when somebody tried to give you a word of encouragement, and somebody tried to with goodwill, good intention, edify your soul. Then they add their own voice to the thus says the Lord. So you have to be very careful with what you submit to and the voices that you submit to. As I said, also, we deal with our own voices and sometimes We straight up are spoken to us the Word of God. And then it has to filter through our hurt. It has to filter through our emotions, it has to filter through those strongholds, it has to filter through those addictions. And by the time that the voice of the Lord gets through all that, it's either nonexistent or very, very perverted, and loses the meaning of the original word that went forth.

So this is the proper alignment, our spirit, man should be on top. When we talk about walking in the Spirit. That means that our spirit has the top position, it is stronger than our soul, and our soul is submitted to that to our spirit. And our body is submitted to our soul. This is the proper, healthy spiritual life. This is what we talk about walking in the Spirit. And guess what this is never, we're never perfect. We're never 100% Good to walk in this perfect alignment.

This process of rearranging the spirit, soul, and body and what part of us is in control is called sanctification. Sanctification is the process of becoming more Christ-like and it never stops from the time that we become Christian. Until the time we go home to be with the Lord. This is always an ongoing process of becoming more Christ-like, and that means that our spirit man rules us, not our bodies, not our addictions, but our spirit man rules us, not our hurt, not our bitterness, not our unforgiveness, not our own knowledge, not our own self-discipline, not any of the fruits of our own efforts, not any of the things that we try to do without God's help rule us, the spirit, our spirit man, being fully submitted to the Spirit of God, that is walking and being Christ-like that is when our light shines. This is the proper healthy spiritual life.

But like I said, many times, this is how it starts the misalignment, because we begin to operate from either a place of hurt or a place of self-reliance. And what happens is our soul moves to the top controlling position. And we operate out of hurt or out of self-reliance or in other words, pride. In other words, taking a stance or a position that whatever I'm walking through, it's okay, I can handle it. I don't need God to intervene, pride. And we all know that pride comes before a fall. And this causes a rift. And the more hurt that we allow to operate in us, the more unforgiveness the more bitterness that we walk in. The greater the rift, the greater the void. And what happens after that, is it leads us to try to stimulate our bodies with different pleasures, to fill the void. And like I said, when our spirit man is controlled by our soul in our body, which primarily happens, the voice of God becomes very diminished, very distorted. This is why you hear so many Christians say, Well, God doesn't speak to me, I don't hear the voice of the Lord. Because they're out of alignment doesn't mean that doesn't mean we're not saved. When we're out of alignment. It just means that our soul or our body is ruling our being in what happens is once we begin to stimulate our bodies enough, once we get a big enough high, once we get a good feeling about filling the void was something which in many of our cases here has been food.

It becomes an addiction. It becomes the way that we stimulate our bodies, it's it becomes the way that we comfort ourselves. That's why we call it comfort food. It's why we call it soul food. Because we allowed a stronghold of the enemy to operate in our soul, which then caused us to look for different ways to fill the void. Why was there a void because there was a separation, a separation between us and God, not because God went somewhere? God's in the same place God's voice is still speaking, God's never stopped speaking. But we allow the enemy to come in and create a stronghold in our soul, which led to us trying to fill that void. The proper response to the void, what do you think the proper response to the void is? The proper response to the void is not trying to feed it with something, not trying to fill it with a good feeling that comes from something. The only thing that can fill this void, repentance, repentance. And that's hard, that's a hard pill to swallow sometimes because usually, this begins with somebody else hurting us. This begins with somebody else hurting us. They either sometimes stay in our lives and continue to hurt us. Or some people just hurt you and move on. And then you're left with the void. And you think, well, I what did I do? Somebody else hurt me. What did I do? Why do I have to repent? Well, the reason we have to repent is because that void happens because of unforgiveness. Because of bitterness, because of resentment that we allowed to build up in our soul.

I found this brain scan that shows activity, normal activity versus cocaine addiction versus sugar carb addiction. And Isn't it incredible? That the sugar and the carbs and the things that we run to these comfort foods all have the same reaction, and response and rewiring that happens to the person that's has a cocaine addiction or an alcoholic that has an alcohol addiction. Addiction begins to stimulate different hormones. And it begins to rewire our brains. And it begins to cause our neurons to fire differently. You can see I reference for this information. It's very, very interesting. It shows some of the studies that they did with rats with sugar addiction, which is very fascinating in the same way that it affects a cocaine attic. So again, we have to figure out how do we get our spirit man back on top? How do we get our spirit man back in control over our being? How do we get our soul to a healthy place? How do we break the strongholds that have happened in our souls? How do we break the addiction that is on that slide that I just showed you, which is scientific proof? The things that we're going to food, the sugar, the carbs, all the process junk that man has made, and putting addictive materials in it, including caffeine. And I'm not saying you can't ever have any of these things, but I am saying there are addictive, chemical addictive traits to a lot of these things. Because they want us to buy more of it. Scientific proofs that our bodies are going through addictions and many Christians. They might look down upon the drug addict or the alcoholic, or the sex addict. But most Christians in the church today will fully accept the addiction to food. Why? Because they are addicted to it. How do I know? Because 75% of America, it's now the stats are 75% of America are either overweight or obese. And, sadly to say, Christians are some of the biggest offenders.

We got to figure out how to do this. I'm not going to get into this particular scripture tonight. But we know we know what character in the Bible went through a lot of this and we see a real laid out detailed story and that's with David. And that's when David allowed his soul to begin to bring a separation as he sinned in his heart with Bathsheba and it led to an addiction that was so fierce that he took Bathsheba for His own wife when she was already married, he had her husband killed. And what did David do? One of the prayers of David that we hear is renew a right spirit within me, renew a right spirit within me repentance. And then we later see how God says that David was a man after his own heart.

And we don't understand, sometimes the benefit, or the detriment of not allowing our spirit man to be on top, John 4:23-24. But the hour is coming in now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit, and in truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him, in spirit, and in truth. Now, let this sink in for a second here. Let this sink in for a second, God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him, must worship him in spirit, and in truth. Do you think if our spirit man's on the bottom, totally out of control, and we're either being ruled by our body, or we're being ruled by our soul? How are we going to worship God in spirit? When we're being ruled by our soul and our body? Do you think that the strongholds that the enemy has on us, and the addictions that our body has, are keeping us from true worship? For not being controlled by our spirit, if our spirit man is not out powering our soul in our body? How difficult is it to worship? I mean, to truly worship the Father.

So the benefit, one of the main benefits of having a dominant spirit is intimacy with the Father is intimacy with the son, without our spirit, it would be impossible to connect with the Father. And so when our spirit is downtrodden, and when our spirit is being ruled by our soul, and by our body, it becomes very difficult to have intimacy. Galatians 5:16-26. And I say then walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh, lust against the spirit in the Spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentious jealousy, outbursts of wrath, self ambition, dissension, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries, and of the like, in which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in the times past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there is no law. And those who are in Christ, have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. And let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

This is what it looks like. When our spirit man is in control. We operate in these fruits, the fruit of the Spirit when our flesh is controlling us that is, our bodies or the addictions of our bodies, or the strongholds of our soul. When they are controlling us, these are the fruits so if you want to have a daily weigh-in of what part of your design is controlling you, then look at these fruits. We got to look at the fruit. We buy all kinds of devices, Apple watches and Fitbits and other watches fitness tracking watches We buy scales, we buy scales that connect to our, our smartphones, we, we have mirrors to look in to see, and to judge what's going on with our bodies, right? We can, we can test our blood sugar, we can test our blood pressure, we can test our ketones in our blood, we can get a good picture, even with medical tests of what's going on with our body, right? There's all kinds of devices to measure what's going on in the body. I think if we had such devices, to measure the health of our spirit, man, it would be scary. If we had the ability to look in the mirror and look at the strength of our spirit man versus the strength of our soul, or the strength of our body. I think it would be scary.

This is why I said that most people that are watching this, if not every Christian that is watching this have an eating disorder. Why do I say that? Because what is going to determine which part of us is stronger? What's going to determine how we get our spirit man back in the dominant role was going to determine if our soul is ruling us our body is ruling us. It's going to be determined by what we eat. This isn't just physical food. What voices are we feeding our soul? What voices of our own voice? Are we feeding our soul? What lies? Are we feeding? What deceptions? Have we believed and are feeding our soul? What outside influences are we allowing to influence our soul? Because whatever we feed the most, and whatever we feed first, is going to end up being the strongest. And sadly to say that many of us don't feed our spirit until we make it through all through the day. And then we if we have something left, if we have something left, we'll feed our spirit man. Maybe we'll give God a few minutes, maybe we'll be in the word for a few minutes. But yet we maybe we're on Facebook or watching TV or YouTube or other videos for four hours that day. And maybe we can muster up 10 or 15 minutes for the Lord, we have an eating disorder, we have to feed the spirit man first, God gave us Galatians 5:16-26 so that we have a scale or a tool of measurement to see what's going on in our design. What are we seeing fruits? Where do we see more fruits, more of these fruits of the flesh are more of these fruits of the Spirit.

Another benefit of living with the dominant spirit, Hebrews 10:24-25. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the matter of manna have some but exhorting one another. And so much the more as you see the day approaching, what is one of the things under attack today and that is the gathering or the assembling of the brethren. And we lose part of our spiritual strength. When we are not together. One of the benefits of being together is we're able to edify one another were able to stir up each other in love. And in good works. I'm gonna bring up this stat I studied and I found and it says each week in the USA, today, present-day, each week 75 to 150 churches close their doors for good. Each week 75 to 150 churches close their door for good in the United States today. And I think this is actually an older stat maybe even before COVID. So this could be even if they were to run the stats in 2022, it could be even more exaggerated than that. And this is just a sign another sign of our eating disorder where we live a life where we give God the leftovers if there are any at the end of the day.

And I'm always real and transparent with you guys and I had an eye-opening experience with this in my personal life. So I'm throwing myself in the ring with you guys as well, I'm certainly not down-talking anybody because this is all of us, we need to have an awakening. Because another thing of getting back into alignment, proper alignment with our spirit man on top, that could be called revival that could very well be a perfect picture of revival. So back to what we spent our time on when Leah and I were going through the process of finishing our house and we had finished everything and we are listing it and it was very stressful. We had multiple offers and multiple things fall through. And then we finally got an offer and then everything got delayed. Come on real world. Truth, here, stress stressful, not only did I turn back to food and the comfort of food, but I also turned to my phone, and I found a game that I rather like that I filled my time with so that I could get my mind off of the stress, Come on, who else is with me, we find things to fill our minds to fill our time because we don't want to deal with the stress of things. And one day, and it wasn't too long ago, maybe four to six weeks ago, I just felt the gentle tap of the Holy Spirit. In my game. One of the things that it showed was the consecutive number of days that I hadn't logged in. And it showed 110 days, I just happened to be going through the screen on the game. And I saw that and in the Holy Spirit just tapped me and said, when's the last time you did 110 days consecutive for the kingdom of God without fail? Well, that's all it took. All I took was that little gentle tap Jesus, I repent, I repent that I not only wasted all that time, I repent that not only did I turn to something else other than you Father for comfort, but I also repent because I repent of what I didn't do that I could have done in those 110 days for the kingdom of God. That I wasn't consistent with letting my light shine doesn't mean I didn't do anything for the kingdom. But are we willing to show the same level of commitment to the kingdom of God that we do to other things?

Why is it so powerful for us to assemble together? Matthew 18:19-20. Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth, concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in their myths. Have you ever heard of the term open heaven or even felt it? You've been in service? Maybe you're 30 minutes into praise and worship, or 40 minutes into praise and worship, and all the sudden you can feel that the atmosphere changed. And we like to say that God is here. We're in His presence. Like he just showed up? No. That's what we like to say. We like to phrase it as if God just showed up. No, he was there. He was there the whole time. But all the sudden, what changed? Our awareness changed. And why do you think our awareness changed? Because when we're in an open heaven, and we're in the presence of other believers and Gods there, all of a sudden our spirit man is allowed to come back in rulership, our spirit is allowed to come back into rulership. And sadly, this is under attack as well. Not only, as I said, 75 to 150 churches close every day, or every week, excuse me, in the US. But guess what else is happening? Our services are growing shorter. Many, many services are an hour and 15 minutes now, some even 45 minutes. And the service times are getting shorter, which means the praise and worship part of the service is getting shorter. Which means that we don't have that much time to get back in proper alignment, to have proper awareness to have a proper intimacy with the Father. Because remember the scripture we read, that if we're going to worship Him, we must worship Him in spirit and in truth, what our spirit man is being ruled by our body in our soul. There's not much worship, there's not much intimacy that's happening. But when two or more are gathered together, and he's, His presence is there, and we get into an atmosphere of worship, all the sudden, the strongholds of the enemy that are controlling our soul, their power is diminished. The addiction of our body, the power of that addiction is diminished. And our spirit man is allowed to come back to the top. The benefits of living in a dominant life and the answers to get getting back to a place of having a dominant spirit. We have to assemble together, we got it, we got to spend the time and praise and worship that it takes for us to get back in proper alignment. And sadly, the open heaven or the awareness of the Spirit of God, that is the only window that most Christians have throughout their week. So it takes some time to get to that level of awareness. Like I said, John 4:24. The pitfalls of living a dominant with a dominant body are soul is our worship is hindered or stopped altogether. Because our spirit is suffocated and held down by our body, our soul. We operate from the position of hurt, fear, or despair. What is despair? A complete loss of hope. And if there's no hope, there's no faith. And without faith, Hebrews 11:6 says it's impossible to please God, a hurt soul is the breeding ground for strongholds, to be birth, and to grow into giants. To say, again, a hurt soul is the breeding ground for strongholds, to be birthed and to grow into giants, which leads eventually, to addictions in our body. That's what the giant is. Now does Matthew 6:14-15 make more sense, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you? But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. So the enemy goes after the soul through the mechanism of hurt, abuse, failure, so that he can get that stronghold in the soul, so that he can grow himself a giant and what we don't forgive. That's another way that we separate ourselves from the Father. So another way that we cut off our worship, it's another way that we lose our intimacy.

How many of you know what a 3d printer is? A 3d printer uses basically melted plastic to print 3d objects from 3d graphic images. Some people are doing amazing things with 3d printers such as there's some organizations out there are printing 3d medical devices to help people that have experienced losses of limbs, and they can't afford the 1000s upon 1000s of dollars it cost to have a prosthetic arm or a leg. There's some companies out there that are printing this with 3d printers. Your mouth is like a 3d printer. It builds monuments of your hurt, and bitterness in your soul, and the souls of others solidifying the enemy stronghold. I want you to get this in your soul. In your spirit. Your mouth is like a 3d printer that builds a monument of your hurt and bitterness in your soul, and the souls of others solidifying or strengthening the enemy stronghold. Because we know that Luke 6:45 says, that out of the abundance of the heart, we speak, and Ephesians 4:25-32 says therefore putting away lying. Let each of you speak the truth with his neighbors, for we are members of one another. Be angry and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who is in need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth. But what is good for necessary edification that it may impart grace to the hearer and do not grieve the Holy Spirit by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you with all malice. And be kind to one another tender-hearted, forgiving one another even as God in Christ forgave you. Because if the more we speak out of the hurt, the more monuments we print with our mouth, which is solidifying the stronghold that the enemy has.

Come on guys, are you ready for a little bit more here? First Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own? For you are bought with a price, therefore, glorify God, in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. When we put our body's wants and desires before God's, our bodies become an idol? Let me say it again. When we put our body's wants and desires, in other words, our addictions, our comforts, our comfort, food, our soul food, before God, our bodies become an idol. When we have addictions, the addiction is always competing for what belongs to God. Come on now. Revelations 2:18-20. These things say the Son of God who has eyes like flames of fire and his feet like fine brass. I know your works, love service, faith, and your patience. As for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you because you allow the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to commit sexual immorality and get this and eat things sacrificed to idols and eat things sacrificed to idols. When we allow the addictions of our body to compete and overrule what belongs to God. That body is an idol. And when we feed that addiction, what are we doing? We're eating things that were sacrificed to idols. Wow, we all know that indulging too much Gluttony is a sin. But when we live a lifestyle of addiction, especially when it comes to food, we are continually eating things that were sacrificed to that idol of our body.

So how are we going to get back into proper alignment? How are we going to live a life of walking in the Spirit? How are we going to put our spirit man back in control, we got to fix the eating disorder, we can no longer have this attitude that we're going to give God what's leftover, we can no longer do things on our phone for 110 days, consecutively, or 365 days consecutively. When we haven't given the same intention and the same dedication to the things of the Spirit. We got to fix the eating disorder. We got to guard what we feed our soul. We got to guard what we feed our body. We saw we know the sciences there. They are purposely making foods that are addictive so that we will buy more. We've got to be mindful of this. We got to ask God. I'm not saying you got to cut all that out for 100%. But there's got to be a whole lot more moderation. You got to go to the Father, and you got to go to the Holy Spirit. And you got to give them permission to tap you on the shoulder and say no, no, none of that. You seek the Lord and you find out. And again I'm not saying it's not it's not likely that any of you will never have sugar again. Nor am I saying you should never have sugar again. But we've got to get to the place where we recognize what these things are doing to our brains, what they're doing to our bodies so that we can break the addictive nature of those things and maybe we have them on special occasions. And Lord help us I mean for many of us a special occasion happens every day or six times a day. Because the processed foods the carbs, the processed carbs, the non-natural carbs the sugar, it is all not only addictive but making us sick causing all kinds of disease. We want to pray for healing. But we don't want to, you know, I guarantee you, if God miraculously healed you of everything that you dealt with today. Most of us, probably maybe none of us. would change the way we eat. What a slap in the face that is, because it's these things that are making us sick and killing us. Because we have no control, we have no moderation.

The quickest way to fix the eating disorder is fasting. And, at one point, I did not know exactly where I stood with everyday fasting. And by that, I mean like intermittent fasting. And I can tell you, I went on a 10 day fast. And then from the 10 days, strict water-only fast went into intermittent fasting and will continue that for the duration of the 40 days total fast. This is helping me put things back into perspective and line them back up and fix the eating disorder. I think what the world is come across and proven scientifically, the science, the scientific benefits, the medical benefits of getting into autophagy, through intermittent fasting and some long-term fasting, they're doing this for their health. We need to do it for our spirit, and our health. We need to do it for the kingdom of God and get the eating disorder taken care of.

Like I said, we have to assemble together because something happens. There's an open Heaven. There's something that allows an awareness to come back to us when we are together. It allows us to temporarily get back in alignment with our spirit man on top, in our soul being submitted to our spirit and our body being submitted to our soul. Number four, we have to have long enough praise and worship services that will produce an atmosphere where there is an open heaven because this brings the instant alignment. And this is what will lead to revival. What is revival? That's a hunger. Let's just simplify it. That's a hunger to get this order back. This design back in its right, rightful order. Remember, I said that we're failing by design, we're failing because we don't understand the design the order of the design. And revival is a hunger. Maybe you don't have it all together, maybe you don't have all the answers of how, but it starts with a hunger to get these things back in alignment. He starts with the hunger to deal with the eating disorder. Number five, we have to humble ourselves. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble James 4:6.

We have to have revelation. I'm going to end with this right here. And this is very powerful. We have to have revelations, Revelations 217. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the church. Do we have an ear? Yes. What is the ear? Our spirit man? How do we have hearing, we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, right? That's got to be part of it. Every day, we got to get in the Word. We got to build that, we got to feed that Spirit, through personal worship, through personal praise, through personal prayer, through personal time in the Word. We got to, we got to build that spirit man up, we got to get it back on top so that we have our hearing back. He has an ear, we have an ear which is our spirit. He gave us the ability to hear him through our spirit, through that the mechanism of intimacy. If you don't have intimacy, you're not going to have a very hearing ear. So let him let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who has overcome, I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. My God, what is what is this hidden manner? This is healing food. This is sustenance, for the spirit and for the soul. This is the rightful type of soul food. This is the right type of soul food, manna, revelation, his hidden treasures. This comes through the mechanism of intimacy, and I will give him a white stone. And on the stone, a new name is written with which no one knows except for him who receives it. What is the stone? Look at Peter here, Matthew 16:18. And I also say to you, you are Peter and on this rock, I will build my church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Is he saying on Peter is Peter the rock? No, the rock is revelation, the revelation that Peter had. On that revelation. He saying I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. So up here a white stone. This is pure revelation, white is a purity and I will give him. him who, him who has an ear to hear. Him who has taken the time to prioritize intimacy, I will feed him the hidden treasures, the hidden food, the hidden revelation, and I will give him a pure revelation. And that revelation will show that person a new name, look at Jacob, who wrestled with God, Genesis 32, you can go look at it, Genesis 32:20-32 wrestled with God until what morning came, and the angel, the angel of the Lord said what, let go of me. And he wouldn't let go. So what did the angel do, he reached out and touched his hip, he transformed him for life. And in that encounter, God gave him a new name. Let me tell you when you get a new name, that signifies an encounter of intimacy that was so powerful, that you will never be the same. You want to break your addiction. You want that stronghold of the enemy, to be broken out of your soul. It's got to be with intimacy, intimacy will start it. And you can't have intimacy until there's repentance, then you gotta you got to prioritize it. It's got to become a daily priority. And I'm telling you, the further, the further you walk with God, the more manna he gives you, the further you walk with God, the more white stones, he gives you. Pure revelation, life-transforming revelation. Now, we're not talking about just revival. We're talking about reformation and lasting change. A change of nature, because your name represents is representative of your nature, a total change of your nature. Come on guys who's ready for a new nature. Second Corinthians 5:17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation in Christ. Intimacy, intimacy, who's ready to have the manna? Who's ready to have the white stone with the new name written on it? Who's ready to stop eating food that was sacrificed to idols?

I hope that you'll let this sink in this week, I hope that it will be a loving push, to push you back to the place of intimacy. To push you to get back to that place of manna to push you back to that place of personal revelation of life-transforming revelation. This is the first secret that I wanted to share with everybody that made it this far and watch this podcast or maybe listen to it later on when it's in audio format. That we have to understand that we have an eating disorder. And as a result, we have weak spirits and strong souls and strong bodies that have addictions, strong addictions, and strong souls that have strong strongholds controlling them, rather than them being controlled by our spirit man. I love you guys, and I hope that you'll ponder on this, this week.
